THAT DAY

The Doors record their first demo, September 2, 1965
On September 2, 1965, the members of "Rick & The Ravens", Ray Manzarek's brother's group which later became "The Doors", entered the "World Pacific Jazz Studios" in Los Angeles to record 6 tracks including texts are the fruit of the new singer spotted by Ray, a certain Jim Morrison:
1) Moonlight Drive
2) Hello, I Love You
3) Summer’s Almost Gone
4) My Eyes Have Seen You
5) End Of The Night
6) (Go) Insane
The group is then composed of Jim Morrison on vocals, Ray Manzarek on keyboards, John Densmore on drums, Rick Manzarek on guitar, Jim Manzarek on harmonica and a certain Patty Sullivan on bass.
Note that at that time, Robby Krieger was not yet a member of the group...
