"Morrison Hotel", 5th studio album of DOORS was released on February 9, 1970. Did you know that its title comes from a hotel in Los Angeles bearing the name of the singer by pure chance?
Recorded between September and December 1969 at Elektra Sound Recorders and produced by Paul A. Rothchild, the disc proposes a return to a blues rock sound as the group used to play in its beginnings in the clubs of Sunset Blvd.
The photograph from an improvised shoot appearing on the cover is signed Henry Diltz.
