Over the years, Diltz has produced over 250 album covers and thousands of publicity photos, including the DOORS' iconic "Morrison Hotel" album cover. He was the official photographer for the Woodstock festival in August 1969.
His work has appeared in The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, LIFE, People, Rolling Stone, High Times and Billboard. Henry Diltz is co-founder/co-owner of the iconic Morrison Hotel Gallery in Los Angeles, New York and Maui.
