The unlikely encounter between Jim Morrison and Janis Joplin

Jim Morrison and Janis Joplin had the chance to evolve on stage at the same time and with this common point of having the same producer in the person of Paul A. Rotchild. It is also thanks to the latter that the two artists managed to meet at a party organized in April 1967...

Jim and Janis share these same passions for alcohol, blues music and literature.

The legend says that during the evening both drink a lot and Jim then becomes uncontrollable and rude, he grabs the famous singer by the hair.

The situation turns into chaos, Janis manages to defend herself and join Rothchild in a van outside to leave the place. Morrison follows her and manages to get into the back of the van, Janis then grabs a bottle that was lying around there and strikes a violent blow on the skull of the "Lizard King", he falls stunned and Janis takes advantage of it to cut the road...

A few days later, Morrison who had come to apologize for his unworthy behavior, enters a room in which the famous vocalist is. He then wears a strip of fabric around his head and Janis would have mentioned at the table his embarrassment at having hit Jim Morrison... even if we think he still deserved it a little.
