Bernard Lavilliers sings Jim Morrison
We are in October 1976, and it is on "Les Barbares", fourth studio album by French singer Bernard Lavilliers, that a piece entitled "Plus dure sera la chute" appears.
The artist, who has never hidden his admiration for Morrison, naturally dedicates this title to him.

As the song progresses, Lavilliers will then take the point of view of a sound engineer during a Doors concert, not knowing how to react behind his console during the famous passage, no less controversial of "The End "inspired by Oedipus the King.
He will then try to slip into the skin of Morrison himself, evoking the latter's most intimate feelings and thoughts. Finally, when he interprets this title in concert, Lavilliers will even go so far as to sing the chorus of "Riders on the storm" several times...
