DID YOU KNOW ?

Are the Doors at the origin of the Hard Rock Café?
A question that often comes up among DOORS fans is the following: "Are DOORS the origin of the American restaurant chain with musical imagery, "Hard Rock Café"?
The answer is no, it's actually a rumor accentuated by the photos that make up the cover of the album "Morrison Hotel".
The Hard Rock Café was indeed a bar in Los Angeles with a short lifespan (not affiliated with the famous restaurant chain present almost everywhere in the world today). It was in this bar that a photo shoot was organized by Henry Diltz and the Doors as they enjoyed a moment of conviviality.
The photo of the group in this drinking establishment will appear on the back cover of the album "Morrison Hotel", an album whose two sides bear the names: "A/ Hard Rock Café & B/ Morrison Hotel".
In 1971, Isaac Tigrett and Peter Morton took over the name "Hard Rock Café" from this independent bar, which had already been closed for several months, in order to found a chain of restaurants. The first "Hard Rock Cafe" as we know it then opens near Hyde Park Corner, London. We find in these places today, equipment and musical instruments having belonged to many figures of the "rock" scene, like the famous leather pants of Jim Morrison, which is at the establishment located on Hollywood Boulevard.
